Youth summer school “Dniester-2023”.

From July 7 to July 12, 2023, on the bank of the Dniester (“Nistru” camp, Molovata Noua village, Dubasari district), the traditional, already 15th, Youth Summer School was held, organized by the International Association of River Keepers “Eco-TIRAS” “Dniester 2023”. 50 young people from 15 to 20 years old from both banks of the Dniester River met on it and made friends. This activity was supported by the European Climate Foundation project dedicated to the youth awareness in the issue of climate change and its impact on human health, forestry, agriculture, water resources, nature and ecosystems, including the Dniester River basin. Possible adaptation measures were discussed. The participants of the Summer School discussed the draft Program for adaptation of the Republic of Moldova to climate change and proposed measures for its improvement. The summer school was supported by the European Climate Foundation.
